Established with a vision to empower and uplift women from all walks of life, Daksh is dedicated to fostering a society where every woman has the opportunity to thrive and succeed on her own terms.
Our Story
In the heart of Delhi, the Daksh Education Welfare Society stands out as a beacon of empowerment, particularly for girls and women, through making them self-sufficient through skill development. Daksh is established under the Society Registration Act of 1860; it has become synonymous with progress and equality.
Its core mission is to integrate knowledge into society, ensuring it is within the reach of everyone. Daksh's origin traces back to Varanasi, a city where tradition and education coexist. Here, amid the ghats of the Ganges, Daksh began its quest for empowerment through knowledge.
Its first significant initiative through outreach among school children to civil society regarding the importance of food safety, considering Varanasi as the city of food lovers. Varanasi upholds its heritage while fostering narratives of progress, blending education, art, and cultural pride, and supporting India's journey towards a future that honors its historical roots.
